Midnight Ghosts is Renzy Star’s independent tribute album to Coldplay, a heartfelt project unfolding over 42 minutes and featuring 13 instrumental covers that capture the emotional essence of their music.

Each track was crafted to represent moments of light and darkness, all connected through Renzy’s original album artwork: a sacred 12-sided mandala symbolizing the midnight hours, with a central 13th slot representing illumination and hope.

The album includes 6 of Renzy's previously released covers from 2019 to 2023, now joined by 7 brand new covers, creating a complete journey that culminates in the dawn of a new beginning. Midnight Ghosts, released on July 25, 2025, is more than just a tribute as it’s also a celebration of Coldplay's 25-year legacy, marking the anniversary of their debut album in 2000.

🗣️ “Coldplay’s music has been a lifeline for me, a guiding light that has saved me from darkness time and time again. This album is my way of expressing my deepest gratitude to the band that has meant so much to me, while continuing to move forward in my own artistic path.” — Renzy

If you're a Coldplayer or simply enjoy some instrumental, new age music, experience the heartfelt tribute of Midnight Ghosts.

This project also includes a special bonus track available for free download: Aiko. This was Renzy's very first time covering someone else's music, released in 2019 on this website right after the conclusion of his debut album, Among Gods, which exclusively featured his original compositions.

🗣️ “Aiko didn’t make the cut for Midnight Ghosts for two reasons: firstly, it’s an unreleased song by Coldplay, and artists should never release covers of unreleased tracks on official platforms like Spotify and iTunes before the band themselves do; and secondly, given the significance of Aiko as my first cover and its release before the Midnight Ghosts concept was even born, it feels right to offer it for free to fans and visitors.” — Renzy

Enjoy this heartfelt cover in high-quality MP3.
